These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and services at Irma Wellness ("Irma Wellness", "we", "us", "our"), including massage, private infrared sauna and private shower services, and to use of our website and booking system. By booking or attending, you agree to these terms.
Business details: Irma Wellness, ABN 91 622 896 654, 3/999 Lower North East Road, Highbury SA 5089. Contact: admin@irmawellness.com | 0426 355 675.
1. Our services
We offer remedial massage, deep tissue massage, lymphatic massage, pregnancy massage, relaxation massage, private infrared sauna sessions and private shower facilities. Our services are provided for wellness and relaxation. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Please speak with your doctor before booking if you have any health concern.
2. Bookings and deposits
- A booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit of 20% of the service price.
- Your deposit is applied to the cost of your service. The balance is payable at the end of your appointment.
- You must provide accurate contact details when booking.
- You must be 18 or over to book.
3. Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows
- We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
- With 24 hours' notice or more, your deposit can be transferred to a new booking or refunded to your original payment method.
- With less than 24 hours' notice, or if you do not attend, your deposit is forfeited.
- If you arrive late, your session will usually end at the scheduled time so we can stay on time for the next client. The full price still applies.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will offer you a new time or a full refund of your deposit.
4. Payment
We accept payment by card or cash. Card payments are processed through our payment providers, Zeller for in-person payments and Stripe for online bookings. Prices may change without notice but will not affect a confirmed booking. Prices include GST where applicable.
5. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, are redeemable for services only, are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable unless required by law. Lost or stolen vouchers may not be replaced.
5A. Sauna packs
- Sauna packs are prepaid bundles of 30-minute RESTORE infrared sauna sessions (3 sessions for $105, 5 for $165, 10 for $300). Each booking made with a pack uses one session. Sessions can't be used for other treatments, other session lengths or add-ons.
- Packs are valid for 16 weeks from the date of purchase. Sessions not used by the expiry date lapse and are not refundable, unless required by law. If you can't use your sessions because of illness, we will refund the unused sessions on receipt of a doctor's certificate. We may also extend a pack at our discretion if we have had to close.
- Sessions booked with a pack follow the cancellation policy in clause 3: with at least 24 hours' notice the session is returned to your pack; with less than 24 hours' notice, or if you do not attend, the session is used. If we cancel, the session is returned to your pack.
- Packs are for the account holder who bought them and can't be transferred, unless we agree in writing.
- Packs are not redeemable for cash, and gift vouchers can't be used to buy sauna packs. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including a refund or remedy if we are unable to provide the service.
6. Health screening and consent
- Before your first appointment, and whenever your health changes, you must complete our consent and health screening form and tell us about any relevant medical condition, injury, medication, pregnancy, recent surgery or procedure.
- You are responsible for giving us complete and accurate information. We rely on it to deliver services safely.
- We may decline, modify or stop a service if we think it is unsafe for you or if the information provided is incomplete.
- You can withdraw consent, ask for a change in pressure or technique, or stop a session at any time.
- Some services (such as pregnancy massage or massage after surgery or cosmetic procedures) may require a separate consent form and, where appropriate, clearance from your treating doctor.
7. Massage
Our massage services are strictly therapeutic and professional. You will be draped at all times and only the area being treated will be uncovered. You must wear underwear or swimwear (such as bathers, or a bra and underwear) throughout your appointment. Being fully nude is not permitted. If this is not followed, we may decline to start or end the session, with no refund.
Any inappropriate, sexual or abusive behaviour or comments will result in the session ending immediately, with no refund, and may be reported to the authorities.
Please tell your therapist if anything feels uncomfortable.
8. Infrared sauna and shower
- Sauna sessions are for one person (or the people named on the booking) in a private room. You must wear swimwear or underwear (such as bathers, or a bra and underwear) in the sauna. Being fully nude is not permitted.
- Heat exposure carries risk. Do not use the sauna if you are unwell, have a fever, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or have been advised by a doctor to avoid heat. Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, have heart or circulatory conditions, low or high blood pressure, are taking medication that affects heat tolerance, or have any condition affected by heat.
- Drink water before and after your session. Leave the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, nauseous or unwell and let us know.
- Do not use the sauna with metal jewellery, and remove contact lenses where advised. Follow all instructions in the room.
- Use the shower and sauna hygienically. Use the towels provided and leave the room tidy. A cleaning fee may apply if a room is left in an unreasonable state.
- You must not leave the sauna running, change the equipment settings beyond those shown, or bring glass, food or alcohol into the room.
- Sessions are timed. Your session includes setup, shower and changing time unless stated otherwise.
9. Your responsibilities and our liability
- You use our services voluntarily and must follow our staff's instructions.
- Our services come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
- Subject to those rights and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, injury or damage resulting from your failure to disclose relevant health information or follow instructions, or for loss of or damage to personal belongings left on the premises.
- Please do not bring valuables. We recommend you secure your belongings.
10. Arrival, conduct and premises
- Please arrive a few minutes early. Come freshly showered if possible and avoid strong perfumes.
- We may refuse service or ask you to leave if you are intoxicated, abusive, disruptive or unsafe. No refund will apply.
- No smoking or vaping is permitted on the premises.
- We may record photos or video to use as content on our social media. We only do this with your separate written consent on a content consent form, and we will also ask for your verbal consent before recording. You can decline or withdraw consent at any time, and this will not affect your service. Clients may not record or photograph in treatment, sauna or shower rooms.
11. Website and online booking
We aim to keep our website accurate but do not guarantee it is free of errors or interruptions. Content on our website, including text, images and branding, belongs to Irma Wellness and may not be reused without permission.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of your experience, please contact us at admin@irmawellness.com so we can resolve it. We take all feedback seriously.
13. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time of your booking applies. These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the courts of South Australia have jurisdiction.
